Operation Help The Children is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, charitable
organization located in Media, PA.

Our mission is to provide food, clothes and economic assistance and to improve the living conditions of Romania's orphanages and street children.

History

OPERATION HELP THE CHILDREN (OHTC) was established and incorporated on July 1st in 1999 as a 501 (c)(3) non-profit charitable organization located in Media, PA U.S.A. Our focus is on Romanian children and we are committed to support the needs of orphanages, children's hospitals and homeless / abandoned street children in Romania.

ORPHANED, ABANDONED, children in Romania. Today there are over 100.000 abandoned and orphan children, living in state-run, poorly equipped orphanages and children's hospitals. Very poor parents who take their sick children to the hospital often leave them there permanently.

There are also twenty thousand or more children living on the streets. Many of the street children and teenagers will die of disease, hunger or exposure to the harsh Romanian winter. Operation Help the Children is a non-profit charitable organization dedicated to making a difference in these young lives.
